AutoQC successfully pings, but no upload? lpino  2023-09-11 11:22:28

Hi team!

I previously had AutoQC working great for about 11 months, but at some point it stopped uploading to our Panorama page. The small icon button on our configuration does successfully launch the appropriate Panorama page, and the Skyline button opens the appropriate Skyline document. Here's an example of the log (attached). If there's any other information I can get you, please let me know!

Thanks,
Lindsay

Hi Lindsay,

The problem seems to be the '+' character in this folder name: "Quality Control + System Suitability". This folder was created in 2021 and hasn't been renamed since. So it is odd that the uploads just started failing. The last successful upload in a subfolder was in 11/2022, and that was with Skyline-daily (64-bit) 21.2.1.403 (b37df497b). Which version of Skyline are you using now? I will try to track down what changed since Skyline-daily 21.2.1.403 that is causing the '+' character to not be encoded correctly in the URLs being sent by Skyline to Panorama.

The workaround for now would be to replace the '+' in the folder name with something else, e.g. rename the folder to "Quality Control & System Suitability". Is that acceptable?

Thanks for reporting the bug!

Renaming the folder is not a problem, that seems to be the easy fix! We could actually just rename the whole thing to "System Suitability" to avoid any special characters.

Can I do that, or should you do it?!

Thanks for the super prompt response! <3

Oh sorry, and we're still running that same version of Skyline-Online!

You can rename it yourself from the Admin menu (gear icon, top right corner) > Folder > Management. Make sure that the correct folder is selected in the "Folder Tree" tab. Click the "Rename" button in the toolbar. Remember to update the folder path in AutoQC Loader!

Let me know if you run into any issues.
