Fail to upload QC files into Panorama QC folders kaitm  2021-09-16 14:04:10

QC folders require that all documents use the same molecule, but they did not match. Please create a new QC folder if you wish to work with different molecules. Attempted import: [C19H29N3O5, C27H38N2O4, C28H37N5O7, C32H41NO2, C33H40N2O9, C7H10N4O2S, C8H10N4O2, C8H9NO2]. Previously imported: [C12H14N4O4, C19H29N3O5, C27H38N2O4, C28H37N5O7, C32H41NO2, C33H40N2O9, C7H10N4O2S, C8H10N4O2, C8H9NO2].

QC folders require that all documents use the same molecule, but they did not match. Please create a new QC

This is an error message I'm getting when trying to upload new files onto QC Panorama. There were edits made to the original Skyline documents and the molecule was modified. I tried reverting the file back but it's still continuing to error when I use this Skyline file. I wanted to see what my options were with uploading a QC. Could I delete all the information already on the Panorama QC and then re-upload the files on processed through the Skyline method? How would I go about wiping the QCs already loaded?

Thanks,

Kaitlyn

Hi Kaityln,

Yes, you can delete the previously uploaded documents. Click on the Runs tab at the top. Select all of the documents that have already been imported via the checkboxes on the rows. Click the trash icon to initiate the delete and then confirm it.

That should clear things out and let you import the revised version of the document.

You could also create a new QC folder and use it going forward, leaving the previously imported documents in the original folder.

Thanks,
Josh

One more thing, the Skyline document you are trying to upload is missing the molecule: Sulfadimethoxine (C12H14N4O4) that is causing the uploads to fail. This molecule was included in all the Skyline documents uploaded to this folder so far. If you want to revert back to the old set of targets you could download the latest .sky.zip from the "Targeted MS Runs" table in the "Runs" tab and use the .sky file in the .zip archive as your template document.

Your QC folder has data since 11/2020 so it may be good to rename that folder and create a new one for the new set of QC targets and data!

Thanks,
Vagisha
