log file does not exist n wildburger  2017-04-09 18:30:51

Hi

I keep getting an error message "log file does not exist" when ever I try to start AutoQC after building a configuration.

I have never seen this error before, and the is not the first time I have installed AutoQC on a system before granted this is an older computer.

Thanks,

Norelle

Hi Norelle,

Is it possible to attach a screenshot of the error? This could be a permissions issue - AutoQC Loader was most likely unable to create a file in the folder ("Folder to watch").

Thanks,
Vagisha

Hi Vagisha,

Attached is a Powerpoint with a screenshot of the error message.

Hi Norelle,

Are you able to create new files in the D:\AutoQC-Templates folder? Perhaps try to create AutoQC.log manually in this folder and then start the configuration.

I don't really know what's going on. We may have to do a WebEx call to figure this out.

Thanks,
Vagisha

Hi Vagisha,

I created an AutoQC.log text file in the D:\AutoQC-Templates folder, but still got the same error message (attached).

Hi Norelle,

Could you please remove the .txt extension from the file name and try again? AutoQC Loader expects the file to be AutoQC.log. I think there is some other error here that we are not being able to see. After removing the .txt extension can you please try this?

1. Before starting the configuration, select the configuration and click the "View Log" button.
2. Switch back to "Configurations" tab and start the configuration.

After you get the "Log file does not exist" message box check if there is any addition text in the "Logs" tab. If there is, please send me a screenshot. If not, I will get in touch with you to do a Webex call.

Thanks,
Vagisha
