Hello! My name is Monica Urias, I am a Ph.D. student in the GGE program in the Kültz Lab. My interests are in identifying the mechanisms of Stress-induced evolution in Botryllus schlosseri, an invasive marine invertebrate, and drawing its connections to global climate change from an ecological perspective. I received my B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Technology, & Policy (with a minor in Biology and a concentration in Applied Ecology) from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2023.
