   Research 

   My research interests lie in understanding the molecular underpinning of stress- responses, especially under the framework of stress-induced evolution. I am fascinated by the relationship between holistic physiological phenotypes and the -omics that may result in their changes. Currently, my research is on the stress-response of California grunion to osmotic challenges, with an emphasis on the use of their cell lines and embryos to study their molecular response to stress in an ecologically relevant context.
